Zenith's an Italian run, Spanish club which, having failed to secure a weekly residency at Pacha, despite many successful years, took the bold step of moving to the much less intimate surroundings of Amnesia in 2001, taking over not just a back room as they'd done before, but now holding court in the entire venue.

Zenith's story is very Ibiza, having grown from a beach party, to getting regular, fortnightly slots at Pacha. The constant mix of live vocals and percussion, with the best of US house and garage (Todd Terry headlined Zenith's 6th Anniversary party in 2001) proved immensely popular with the local Spanish, and Zenith were big enough to go for a weekly slot this year. Pacha, unfortunately, couldn't accommodate, whereas Amnesia needed a draw for Saturday nights.

Despite the bigger surroundings, Zenith is still a local club for local people, and still a haven for funky vocal house... Having said this, newcomers are made to feel more than welcome. If you want to experience something completely different from a regular gay night out, but can't face the thought of one of the many British-dominated UK mega-clubs, with their reputation for loutish (not laddish) behavior, Zenith's the REAL Ibiza experience (and you get to see just how crazy the Spanish really are when they let their collective hair down on a Saturday night). Just don't go down there expecting the lady to rest her voice at any point...

2003 marks the 10th anniversary of the promoters first Ibiza afterparty at Tahiti Beach... expect fireworks!

As it turned out, 2003 saw a couple of changes in location! Starting the season at the cursed Pin-Up, Zenith soon relocated to the hippest kid on the block, La Diosa, to great success.
