Opening Soap to an expectant world in 2002, Alex and Marcus provided the best coffee, the best crêpes, and an quicker alternative to nearby Croissant Show. The fact that they were both drop-dead gorgeous was just a bonus!

Okay, that didn't stay in date for too long... By 2003, the beautiful Marcus and Alex had become the beautiful Marcus and Julio, but the coffee still flows quicker and friendlier than at nearby Croissant Show. The crêpes don't appear to be there any longer, but who cares when you've got Julio to look at!

The boys are disgustingly good-looking, but so refreshingly lacking in attitude or pretensions that I had no hesitation in bringing the bar tour to them in 2003, and also ensuring their listing in the second edition of The Rough Guide to Ibiza & Formentera.

Rapidly becoming the perfect place to meet friends before dinner, the bars or a night out clubbing, Señor Marcus is the man who likes to say yes!
